SEH was established in 1971 by Graham Emmerson and Colin Hewitt who formed the original civil engineering company SEH (Ipswich) Ltd.

Over the following years Graham and Colin have developed a group of companies able to offer a comprehensive range of services to the Building and construction industry.

Companies in the group include SEH Ipswich, SEH Holdings, SEH French Construction, SEH French Safety, SEH Asphalt, SEH Windows & Doors and Emmitt Plant.
